Fiserv Insurance Solutions Names Mike Key and Stewart J. Gerson to New Leadership RolesCEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa--May 11, 2005--Fiserv Insurance Solutions, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV), today announced the appointment of two executives to strategic leadership roles in the transition of the business to a single company offering multiple solutions.
Mike Key was named Fiserv Insurance Solutions' co-president and chief operating officer for all product delivery and client services functions. Stewart J. Gerson was named co-president and chief operating officer for all business process outsourcing initiatives while retaining responsibility for the company's finance and administrative functions.
The executive appointments allow the company to better position itself strategically as a leader in providing end-to-end solutions for the life, annuity and property and casualty insurance markets. The pair's attention to the company's technological and client-centered initiatives will focus on enhancing customer value by reducing total cost-of-ownership, thereby generating significant improvements in each client's return-on-investment.
Both executives bring a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to their new roles, having each served as senior executives within the company prior to this announcement. They will continue reporting to Tony Perdichezzi, chief executive officer of the Fiserv Insurance Solutions Division.
