BROOKFIELD, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Fiserv,
Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of financial services
technology solutions, today announced that General Colin L. Powell, USA
(Ret.) will deliver a keynote address at Fiserv Forum 2013, the
spring conference for Fiserv clients. Gen. Powell continues the
conference tradition of bringing iconic world leaders, including the
past two former U.S. Presidents, to address leaders from across the
financial services industry. Forum will be held Apr. 15 —18 at The
Venetian and The Palazzo in Las Vegas.
In addition to Gen. Powell, Forum will feature thought leaders from
Fiserv, headlined by President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Yabuki,
and key executives from a range of innovative financial providers. Forum
features more than 100 sessions dedicated to financial services trends
and technologies, including mobile banking, payments, and strategies for
serving the small businesses market.
"Gen. Powell's experience from a lifetime of service and leadership
provides perfect context for Forum," said Yabuki. "We look forward to
another thought-provoking event that will help clients exchange ideas
and strategies for delivering world-class financial experiences to their
consumer and business customers."
Powell, a retired four-star general of the U.S. Army and the 65th
U.S. Secretary of State, will speak to attendees about the lessons that
shaped his life and career, which were the topics of his bestselling
book, It Worked For Me, published in May 2012. With more than 50
years of public service, including senior military and diplomatic
positions across four presidential administrations, Gen. Powell's deep
commitment to democratic values and freedom continues to be felt around
the world. His public speeches work to inspire leadership skills in
diverse communities across the country, including the business
community. His autobiography, My American Journey, was a best
seller and has been published in more than a dozen languages.
At Forum, participants will choose from a number of breakout sessions,
including discussions on informed decision-making with performance and
analytics, harnessing technology to optimize infrastructure, the
transforming payments landscape, the consumer-driven experience and
more. Each session of the conference will provide insights on subjects
that aim to improve the overall experience offered to the end-user and
experienced by the provider. In addition to Fiserv product experts,
clients will demonstrate real-world applications for technology through
case studies, panel discussions and presentations in smaller group
settings.
The latest innovations from Fiserv will be demonstrated in the event's
80,000 sq. ft. Solutions Center, the dynamic hub for products and
services. This interactive venue gives clients a firsthand look at a
large number of new and existing solutions, and provides an opportunity
to interact with Fiserv product experts.
Discounted early bird registration for Forum 2013 is available through
March 25. The client
conference agenda is available online with additional speakers to be
announced soon.
