P2P Link Set to Open New Corporate Headquarters in Dallas; National Leader in Electronic Claims Management Cites Expansive Growth

July 20, 2006

DALLAS, Jul 20, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- P2P Link, a Fiserv Health company, announced today the establishment of its new headquarters for national operations in Dallas, Texas. P2P Link provides Internet-based solutions for efficient, cost-saving electronic communications between workers' compensation medical care providers and payers.

P2P Link was most recently located in Aurora, Ill. The company has secured temporary space in the headquarters building in the Los Colinas area of Dallas while its formal office suite is being completed. Upon completion in mid-August, the new office will be home to approximately 45 employees with future growth expected. The facility will also serve as a redundant data center, a secondary call center and disaster recovery location for Fiserv Health's workers' compensation division. The Dallas location will supplement a major call center in Memphis, Tenn.

In light of rising claims processing costs and evolving state statutes, the company has become nationally recognized for its innovative, streamlined technology that addresses the administrative challenges facing workers' compensation claims management. The technology at the heart of P2P Link's transaction hub was developed with the input and support of leading property/casualty companies.

P2P Link is led by Mark Heinemeyer, president and CEO, who also serves as executive vice president of the workers' compensation division of Fiserv Health, focusing on product integration and strategic acquisitions. A seasoned executive and entrepreneur, Heinemeyer has participated in the founding and growth of several leading workers' compensation solutions companies. He spearheaded the company's relocation to the Dallas area, known for its impressive talent pool in healthcare technology.

"P2P Link already partners with national and regional medical provider groups, as well as organizations that provide access to local providers - and the network is growing," said Heinemeyer. "In addition to being a bellwether state for workers' compensation reform, we believe a centrally located hub in Dallas will provide multiple opportunities for us to grow and better serve our clients." P2P Link's specialized technology connects health care providers electronically to insurance payers, providing a streamlined and cost-effective process for workers' compensation billing and reimbursements.

The result is better workflow and significantly reduced manual work (fewer phone and fax inquiries), less paperwork and reduced mailing costs, fewer errors, increased acceptance rates, and improved cash flow. Medical providers already using P2P Link's services have seen billing error rates drop from as much as 30% to less than 5% - saving thousands of dollars in administrative and billing expenses. Medical billing studies indicate that full conversion to electronic billing for the average medical practice can generate average savings in billing costs of up 50%.
