Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Honors Fiserv

Lincoln, Neb., September 2, 2009 - Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), the leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, today announced that its Bank Solutions group has received the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce's prestigious Cornerstone Award, honoring Fiserv as business of the year. Tom Cypher, president of Bank Solutions, accepted the award at the Chamber's annual Celebrate Business awards luncheon held to honor nine Lincoln businesses for their success and service to the community.

The Cornerstone Award honors a Lincoln business that best demonstrates leadership in the community, recognizing the organization's entrepreneurial spirit and an investment of time and resources that adds to the economic base of the city. "Fiserv is a cornerstone of our community," said Wendy Birdsall, president of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. "Lincoln is proud to call this exceptional company one of its own."

Fiserv's banking software and services enable financial institutions to efficiently deliver advanced and in-demand solutions to their customers, whether banking at a branch, an ATM, on the Internet, or now by cell phone and touch-screen PDA. "Fiserv proudly serves more than 60 percent of the banks in the U.S.," said Cypher. "This award is a tribute to our 750 talented team members in Lincoln who design and build Premier, the comprehensive suite of integrated software and services that powers more banks than any other technology platform."

Honored in part for its civic leadership, Fiserv's Lincoln campus has given generously to local organizations through the years, with a focus on educational programs and young people in the community. Bright Lights, the Lincoln Children's Museum, Lincoln Children's Zoo and Southeast Community College are just a few of the organizations that have benefited from the company's generosity. Lincoln team members have conducted food, clothing, toy and school supply drives for the Lincoln Food Bank, Cedars Home for Children and the Boys & Girls Clubs.

A large part of the Bank Solutions group at Fiserv, with hundreds of employees in Lincoln, was formerly known as Information Technology, Inc. (ITI). That organization was founded in 1976 by Don Dillon and Dale Jensen, and acquired by Fiserv in 1995. Dillon now serves as Chairman of the Board for Fiserv.
