Fiserv Vice President Terence Sheahan to Speak at BAI/ECCHO CheckImage ConferenceORLANDO, Fla.--Sept. 26, 2005--Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV) announced that Terence Sheahan, vice president of business development for Fiserv Item Processing Services, will speak at the 10th Annual CheckImage Conference, co-sponsored by the Bank Administration Institute (BAI) and the Electronic Check Clearinghouse Organization (ECCHO). Sheahan is one of several speakers discussing the role technology aggregators play in helping banks fulfill the promise of Check 21 legislation.

Aggregators provide a gateway enabling electronic transfer of check images among financial institutions nationwide. Increased cooperation among firms like Fiserv that provide such services will allow institutions to take greater advantages of common frameworks that support image exchange, Sheahan said.

"Check 21 legislation provides banks the opportunity to evolve their payments processes," said Sheahan. "Banks must understand their options to participate under Check 21 and the benefits of working with technology providers like Fiserv. Helping banks better communicate, cooperate and leverage the resources of providers like Fiserv is the focus of this session."

The conference runs from Sept. 26-28 at the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla.
