May 17, 2006

ORLANDO, Fla., May 17, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Fiserv Imagesoft, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV), has been recognized as a 2006 Computerworld Honors Program "Laureate" for its Titan image archive solution. The Fiserv business unit will formally receive its Laureate Gold Medal on June 5, 2006, in Washington, D.C.

Established in 1988, the Computerworld Honors Program recognizes organizations whose use of information technology has been especially noteworthy for originality of conception, breadth of vision and significance of benefit to society. The Computerworld Honors Program is the industry's leading global IT awards program.

Laureates are nominated by the Computerworld Honors Chairmen's Committee organizations. Fiserv Imagesoft was nominated by Sybase. Once nominated, Fiserv Imagesoft was asked to contribute a case study for inclusion in the Computerworld Honors Online Archive and Collections of Global Archives. The technology achievements recognized by this program are preserved and protected in national archives and in more than 100 universities, museums and research institutions around the world.

This award honors the contribution of Titan technology, used in support of the Fiserv National Archive, to significantly improve and greatly expand service offerings by small to medium-sized U.S. financial services institutions to their customers. The coupling of this technology with the Fiserv National Archive has enabled financial institutions of any size to provide their account holders with services that could previously only be offered by very large banks. These services include check image statements, check images on CDs, image-based research and returns processing and full-service home banking.

"We are highly honored to be recognized among such an esteemed group of our colleagues to receive this prestigious award," said Skip Smith, SVP and CIO of Fiserv Imagesoft. "The acknowledgement of the positive impacts made by our team to the financial services industry is truly gratifying."
