Fiserv Gives Back; Donates School Supplies to Communities Across the Country, Including Norcross, Ga.

Norcross, Ga., September 25, 2012 - Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, announced today that Fiserv associates in communities across the country, including Norcross, Ga., held back-to-school drives throughout the months of July and August in order to collect and donate school supplies to not-for-profits in their local communities.

The Fiserv Norcross office, located in a suburb of Atlanta, delivered approximately three van-loads of backpacks and school supplies, including pens, pencils, notebooks, composition books, copy paper and tissues, to the A. Worley Brown Boys and Girls Club. The donations covered everything designated on the suggested supplies list.

A. Worley Brown Boys and Girls Club was founded in 2000 to meet the growing need for a youth development program in Gwinnett County, and, according to the website, delivers quality developmental programs to empower the local youth.

In the past year, the Norcross office supported the Gwinnett Children's Shelter and the A. Worley Brown Boys and Girls Club with an annual Spring Festival, which raised more than $31,100 for the two organizations. The Norcross office also held an annual book sale, which raised money for Junior Achievement, and donated any remaining books to Operation Paperback, a not-for-profit organization that sends books to troops overseas. Additionally, during the holiday season, Norcross office associates collected toys for Toys for Tots, collecting more than 300 toys this past December. These efforts were coordinated by the Norcross Site Recognition Committee, a group of Norcross-based associates who focus on giving back.

In the U.S., Fiserv is supporting a variety of not-for-profits with school supply drives in the following cities: Dallas; Hillsboro, Ore.; Jersey City, N.J.; King of Prussia, Pa; Lake Mary, Fla.; Morris Plains, N.J; Norcross, Ga.; and South Bend, Ind. Fiserv estimates its associates have delivered, in total, over 5,500 individual school supplies to communities across the country this summer.

"Education is an important area of giving for Fiserv and its associates," said Judy DeRango Wicks, vice president, Communications, Fiserv. "Education is at the core of a healthy and successful child, and can provide guidance for all areas of life including future financial decisions. For this reason, many associates at our offices across the country work to donate school supplies during the back-to-school season."

Fiserv core values are demonstrated by supporting the communities in which its associates live and work, with a focus on youth service organizations and providing assistance in the areas of health and wellness, education and financial literacy. Fiserv annual contributions include both monetary support and the organization of volunteer efforts. The company has a volunteer network called "Fiserv Gives Back" in which nearly 20,000 hours have been logged to over 300 different organizations year-to-date in 2012.
