BROOKFIELD, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, today announced that Greater Nevada Credit Union (Greater Nevada), based in Carson City, Nev., has selected the DNA™ account processing platform from Open Solutions, now part of Fiserv. The $459 million asset credit union selected Fiserv to continuously provide the best service to its 45,000 members.

"We wanted to upgrade our enterprise infrastructure with Fiserv to further streamline our systems and ensure our technology remains current. After an extensive evaluation, we decided to stay with the provider who could deliver the best platform for our needs," said Wally Murray, president and Chief Executive Officer, Greater Nevada. "The open architecture of DNA will allow us to utilize a single, member-centric database for a more consistent and personalized member experience."

Recognized by industry leading analysts for its best-in-class technology, user experience and breadth of functionality, DNA from Fiserv is the first relationship-centered core banking platform built for global collaboration. DNA is a 24/7 continuous, real-time platform that employs a relational data model designed around the person, not the transaction.

"The partnership between Greater Nevada and Fiserv will serve to benefit the financial needs of the consumers and businesses in northern Nevada," said Steve Cameron, president, Open Solutions Division, Fiserv. "The DNA platform will enable Greater Nevada to keep its technology infrastructure current with integrated solutions from Fiserv. Greater Nevada will also gain the flexibility to add solutions from other DNA clients through the collaborative DNAappstore™."

Greater Nevada is the third credit union to select DNA in the span of a week, joining Navigant Credit Union of Smithfield, R.I., and MIDFLORIDA Credit Union of Lakeland, Fla. The three credit unions join Vermont Federal Credit Union of Burlington, Vt., in selecting DNA since the acquisition of Open Solutions by Fiserv on January 14, 2013.
