Fiserv and Hunger Task Force Partner to Support Low-Income Seniors this November

Brookfield, Wis., November 19, 2012 - Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, announced today that the Brookfield, Wis.-based office recently partnered with Hunger Task Force to provide healthy food to low-income seniors in the Milwaukee area. Hunger Task Force is a Milwaukee-based nonprofit that strives to attack the issue of hunger through advocacy and food banking. During a Saturday in November, Fiserv associates built and filled 1,920 boxes of non-perishable food items to create 48 palettes of boxes that can be delivered to seniors; a record-breaking day of box building and filling for the Hunger Task Force.

"Many people don't realize how deeply hunger affects our own community, but every day in Milwaukee people are going without meals. Without the help of community leaders like the Brookfield Fiserv associates, local seniors wouldn't have that access to healthy, nutritional food," said Sherrie Tussler, Executive Director, Hunger Task Force.

Hunger Task Force serves all demographics - including children, individuals, families and seniors -- and strives to prevent hunger and malnutrition. Fiserv teamed with Hunger Task Force to build stock boxes filled with healthy foods. The Hunger Task Force delivers these boxes to low-income seniors in the Milwaukee area free of charge, in order to help them stretch their budgets while still eating healthy, filling meals. Each month, a total of 10,000 volunteer-prepared boxes are delivered to seniors in the Milwaukee area.

In addition to the Hunger Task Force, the Brookfield-based Fiserv office annually collects gifts for needy children during the holiday season through the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation and makes donations to the United Way, among other nonprofits.

Fiserv has more than 20,000 associates working in more than 150 locations around the world, and its core values are demonstrated by supporting the communities in which its associates live and work, with a focus on youth service organizations and providing assistance in the areas of health and wellness, education and financial literacy. These contributions include both monetary support and the organization of volunteer efforts.
