Hillsboro, Ore., September 25, 2012 - Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, announced today that Fiserv associates in communities across the country, including Hillsboro, Ore., held back-to-school drives throughout the months of July and August in order to collect and donate school supplies to nonprofits in their local communities.

The Fiserv Hillsboro office collected more than 1,400 school supply items and cash donations for its back-to-school drive, KGW School Supply Drive, which were donated to Schoolhouse Supplies.

The KGW School Supply Drive is Schoolhouse Supplies' annual drive. The award-winning, Portland-area not-for-profit supports public education, and works to give children greater access to learning by providing free school supplies. Schoolhouse Supplies has distributed more than $16.7 million in school supplies to children and classes in-need since 2000.

In the past year, the Hillsboro office also teamed up with the Fiserv Portland office and raised over $3,500 for Race for the Cure, and collected toys for Toys for Tots during the holiday season.

In the U.S., Fiserv is supporting a variety of not-for-profits with school supply drives in the following cities: Dallas; Hillsboro, Ore.; Jersey City, N.J.; King of Prussia, Pa; Lake Mary, Fla.; Morris Plains, N.J; Norcross, Ga.; and South Bend, Ind. Fiserv estimates its associates have delivered, in total, over 5,500 individual school supplies to communities across the country this summer.

Fiserv annual contributions include both monetary support and the organization of volunteer efforts. The company has a volunteer network called "Fiserv Gives Back" in which nearly 20,000 hours have been logged to over 300 different organizations year-to-date in 2012.
