Fiserv Gives Back; Donates School Supplies to Communities Across the Country, Including Dallas

Dallas, September 25, 2012 - Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, announced today that Fiserv associates in communities across the country, including Dallas, held back-to-school drives throughout the months of July and August in order to collect and donate school supplies to not-for-profits in their local communities.

The Fiserv Dallas office collected a total of seven complete kits for middle school children, which included all supplies needed by a middle school student, six additional bags of assorted supplies and cash donations for their back-to-school drive, all of which were donated to Metrocrest Social Services.

Metrocrest Social Services is a United Way Community Partner serving Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Coppell and Addison in Denton County, Texas. According to the Metrocrest Social Services website, the organization strives to improve the quality of students' education through a back-to-school program, which offers students the tools they need but their parents might not otherwise be able to afford. Supplies are collected based on elementary, middle or high school requirements, and this year the Fiserv Dallas office focused on middle school needs.

In the past year, the Dallas office associates volunteered through the Dallas Ramp Project to help build wheelchair ramps for disabled people who can't afford to install the ramps themselves, donated sports drinks and snacks to underprivileged youth through the Texas T.I.G.E.R.S. and supported the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas by collecting items to ship overseas to soldiers. During this past holiday season, the office collected toys to be given to needy children through Salvation Army's Angel Tree.

In the U.S., Fiserv is supporting a variety of not-for-profits with school supply drives in the following cities: Dallas; Hillsboro, Ore.; Jersey City, N.J.; King of Prussia, Pa; Lake Mary, Fla.; Morris Plains, N.J; Norcross, Ga.; and South Bend, Ind. Fiserv estimates its associates have delivered, in total, over 5,500 individual school supplies to communities across the country this summer.

"Education is an important area of giving for Fiserv and its associates," said Judy DeRango Wicks, vice president, Communications, Fiserv. "Education is at the core of a healthy and successful child, and can provide guidance for all areas of life including future financial decisions. For this reason, many associates at our offices across the country work to donate school supplies during the back-to-school season."

Fiserv core values are demonstrated by supporting the communities in which its associates live and work, with a focus on youth service organizations and providing assistance in the areas of health and wellness, education and financial literacy. Fiserv annual contributions include both monetary support and the organization of volunteer efforts. The company has a volunteer network called "Fiserv Gives Back" in which nearly 20,000 hours have been logged to over 300 different organizations year-to-date in 2012.
